Summary of Request for Reconsideration deadline changes as of August 27, 2020

You may have received a Notice from us at the end of 2019 or during 2020 about a change to your property assessment for the 2019 and/or the 2020 tax years.

If you disagree with your assessment or you think there are omissions or corrections required on the Notice, you can file a Request for Reconsideration (RfR).

Due to the emergency declared by the Ontario government in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the deadlines to file certain RfRs for the 2019 and 2020 property tax years have been extended.

This table includes Notices with RfR deadline extensions. Please check the issue date and RfR deadline printed on the Notice you received from us and refer to the below chart for your new deadline.
