MPAC AboutMyProperty Toolkit
To help property owners better understand their property assessment, MPAC has developed a toolkit for municipalities and government partners to promote MPAC AboutMyPropertyTM, our free online property assessment tool.
Through MPAC AboutMyProperty™, property owners can access information about their property, including assessment details and comparable properties in their area. They can also learn more about how their assessment was determined, sign up for e-notifications, and, if needed, file a Request for Reconsideration.
The toolkit provides ready-to-use resources to enable property owners to access trusted information about their property using MPAC AboutMyProperty™.

Property owners can review the property information MPAC has on file, learn how their property is assessed, compare their property to similar ones nearby, and, if needed, file a Request for Reconsideration.
Property owners can also sign up for electronic notifications through MPAC AboutMyProperty™. Those who choose this option will receive an email when new notices are available to view securely online, making it easier to stay informed without waiting for a paper notice in the mail.

Property owners can review the property information MPAC has on file, learn how their property was assessed, compare their property to others in their area, and, if needed, file a Request for Reconsideration.
For property owners, MPAC AboutMyProperty™ can be a helpful starting point for understanding their assessment and managing related information online. After registering with the Roll Number and Access Key found on their Property Assessment Notice, property owners can log in to view their property details, access notices, review local market reports, and update their school support designation. They can also update their mailing address online, helping ensure they receive important information and avoid delays or missed deadlines.
The tool also makes it easier for property owners to explore their neighbourhood by comparing their property to similar ones nearby. This can help residents better understand how assessed values are determined and where their property fits within the local market.
If a property owner disagrees with their assessed value or classification, MPAC AboutMyProperty™ offers the easiest and fastest way to file a Request for Reconsideration online. Property owners can also track the status of their application through the tool and review important deadlines for each property tax year.
Property owners can also sign up to receive electronic notifications through MPAC AboutMyProperty™. Those who choose this option will receive an email when new notices are available to view securely online, making it easier to stay informed without waiting for a paper notice in the mail.
