Property Types

We determine the assessed value of each property based on several variables, and we use different approaches to value properties depending on the property type. If you know your property type, find it below to learn how we assess your property's value.

Residential Property Assessments

Single family homes, condos and waterfront properties.

Multi-Residential Property Assessments

Buildings with seven or more self-contained units.

Farm Property Assessments

Farmland, residence and land, farm outbuilding and other buildings.

Commercial Property Assessments

Retail, food service, office or other general commercial uses.

Industrial Property Assessments

General purpose industrial properties.

Large and Special Purpose Property Assessments

Buildings over 125,000 sq. ft. that are built for, or serve specific uses.

Hospitality Property Assessments

Golf courses, hotels, long-term care homes, motels and retirement homes.

Special Structures on Properties
