Translation

We want to make mpac.ca easier to access and understand. That includes helping you read our information in the language that works best for you. 

MPAC provides official information in English and French. The steps below can help you use your browser to translate pages into another language. 

Browser translations are not created or checked by MPAC. They may have errors, but they can help you understand the general meaning of the page. You agree to assume the risk of any translated information. 

Translated information is not legal advice. If translated information is different from the law, the law applies.

How to translate a page in your browser 

For Chrome, Edge and Firefox: 

  1. Right-click anywhere on the page and select Translate from the menu. 
  2. Select your preferred language. 

Safari: 

  1. Click the Translate button in the address bar. 
  2. Select your preferred language. 
  3. If your preferred language is not available, open System Settings > General > Language & Region and add the language to your list of preferred languages. 
  4. Return to Safari and try again. 

Note: Translation availability may vary by language, country or region. 

On iPhone or iPad 

Safari: 

  1. Open this page in Safari. 
  2. Tap the Page Menu button in the address bar. 
  3. Select Translate to [language], if available. 
  4. If your preferred language is not available, add it to your device’s preferred languages under Settings > General > Language & Region. 
  5. Return to Safari and try again. 

Google Chrome: 

  1. Open this page in Chrome. 
  2. Select the language displayed at the top of the page. 
  3. Select your preferred language. 
  4. If the translation option does not appear, select More and then Translate. 

On Android 

Google Chrome: 

  1. Open this page in Chrome. 
  2. When the translation notification appears at the top of the page, select your preferred language. 
  3. If the translation notification does not appear, select More next to the address bar, then select Translate. 
  4. To change your default translation language, select Settings > More languages and choose your preferred language.
